Annual Meeting, November 9-10, 2016




Overview
As part of a series of steps to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T), Office of University Program (OUP) Biennial Review (set for early 2017), the Arctic Domain Awareness Center (ADAC) will host its Annual Meeting in Alexandria, VA on November 9-10, 2016. During the meeting, Principal Investigator and Research Principal Investigators will review overall Center progress, specific project milestones and deliverables, and provide focused discussions regarding scientific and customer relevancy. Following on the ADAC Year 3 Internal Quarterly Review from September, 2016, the ADAC Annual meeting will provide an opportunity for the Center and projects to effectively update ADAC’s Customers and Partners and answer important questions in advance of the Biennial Review.

ADAC will plan to spend approximately 45 minutes per project, with the exception of Arctic Information Fusion Capability, which will be scheduled for 75 minutes.

DHS and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) leadership, Designated USCG Project Champions and members of the DHS Biennial Review Federal Coordinating Committee(FCC) are principal invited guests. Invitations for ADAC Partners and Collaborators across the U.S. Federal Family, Canadian government and Academic communities, State of Alaska, U.S. Academic Institutions and Industry are respectfully extended.

Each Project will plan to present (via power point slides): Summary Abstract, Key Baseline Bullet Points, Project Champion, Year 2 Progress Highlights, Year 3 plan (summary) schedules and milestones, metrics and key Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs). Proof of principal details (as appropriate) are planned to be included. Each presentation will close with Year 3 Progress to date and Science and Customer Relevance.
